In the summer of 2017, London’s Indigo at The O2 played host to a nine day celebration of Jamaican culture and music in commemoration of 55 years of Independence and Usain Bolt’s final professional races at the IAAF games.

 The cultural extravaganza which was produced on behalf of the Jamaica Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport and Robomagic Live. Audiences were invited to a spectacular line up over 40 artistes’ from the diaspora from Luciano to Ziggy Marley. 

In the summer of 2012, to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Jamaican Independence, The O2 and its multiple venues including IndigO2, were transformed into a Caribbean oasis as over 50 artists took to the stage as part of Respect Jamaica 50.

The two week extravaganza included a multitude of legendary Jamaican singers, DJs, writers, comedians, actors and poets from Damian Marley and Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry to Shaggy and Jimmy Cliff showcasing the cultural depth and diversity of this esteemed nation.
